Welcome to Optics and Microscopy!

This is a brand new 5 credits course at UCSC which will focus on practical and theoretical aspects of Optics and imaging.
Optical Microscopy will be a major theme and we will also go through the basics of technical photography.

Teaching format will be two classes per week. Each week will feature one lecture with the basic concepts and theory of the current topic, followed by a hands-on session of applied imaging.

If you are not in EE or you are an undergraduate student, please contac the instructor (sara@ucsc.edu) and explain why you are interested in the course and you may be given an enrollment code so that you can still take the class.

EE264 Image Processing and Reconstruction and EE289 Adaptive Optics for Biological Imaging
